The card reader to be used for Isabel 6 should look like the one shown below and it will only work when connected to a PC or Mac.
If you are using the correct reader but still receive the error message, follow these steps:
- Remove the Isabel SmartCard from the reader.
- Disconnect the card reader and plug it into another USB port.
- Unplug the USB cable from the card reader itself, then reconnect it.
- Now, insert your Isabel SmartCard and try to logon to Isabel 6.
If the above steps did not solve the issue, reinstall the driver of the card reader.
